SmartPark Validation Program Outline and Conditions:

  1. PROGRAM ENROLLMENT – All Businesses who wish to validate in the City of Portland SmartPark system are required to complete a program of enrollment form. Enrollment form is used solely for collection of participant information. Data collected through enrollment will not be made public or shared outside of the validation program. SmartPark Management and the City of Portland reserve the right to publish the names of participating businesses for the purposes of program marketing.
  2. VALIDATION VOUCHERS – Pre-paid validation vouchers can be used based on individual business criteria and established discretion. Validation vouchers are accepted at all paystations in SmartPark garages and are the only form for validating customer parking.
  3. ORDERING PROCESS – Order validation vouchers using the online order form. www.portlandonline.com/smartpark, choose "Validated Parking", then "Order Form". A minimum purchase of $25 is required. Validation vouchers are available in four denominations:
    $1.60 – One hour
    $3.20 – Two hours
    $5.00 – Three hours
    $7.00 – Four hours

  4. VALIDATION PROGRAM DISPLAY DECAL – Participating businesses are encouraged to display program-provided SmartPark validation decals. Decals are available in various formats to suit individual display and policy needs.
  5. WITHDRAWAL FROM PROGRAM – Businesses are required to notify SmartPark management to discontinue participation in the validation program. Please submit details to smartparkvalidations@parking.com.
  6. PAYMENT OPTIONS – Central Parking will hand-deliver the validation vouchers within 2-4 business days. The following options are available for payment:
    Option 1 – Credit Card Payment – Online credit card payment can be made at the time of ordering by choosing this option.
    Option 2 – Invoice – Invoices are mailed the first week of every month and setup as Net 30. Please refer to payment instructions listed on the invoice.
    Option 3 – COD, Check on delivery – Please make check payable to Central Parking.
  7. VALIDATION VOUCHER EXPIRATION – For accounting purposes, vouchers will be programmed to expire on December 31st of each calendar year. Vouchers sold on or after September 1st of each year will be programmed to expire at the end of the following year. After November 1st of each year expiring validation vouchers can be exchanged for new vouchers by contacting smartparkvalidations@parking.com.
